Accessories and Merchandise

Unopened accessories may be returned within 7 days for a refund or in-store credit.
Opened accessories may be exchanged within 7 days if they are in like-new condition. If an exchange is not possible, we can offer in-store credit.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom orders for repairs/restoration, installed parts, strings, picks, cleaning supplies, vintage or one-of-a-kind items, consignment instruments, and any used or modified product.

11. Why should I book an appointment for repair?

Appointments are helpful if you prefer to schedule in advance; if you are bringing several instruments that need focused review; or if you have a more involved conservation or restoration project such as a neck reset or structural repair. Walk-ins are welcome for straightforward repairs or if you are simply stopping by while you are in the neighborhood; you may just need to wait a few minutes if we are assisting other customers.

12. What are your prices for repair? Why don’t you list them on your website?

We offer a wide range of repair and restoration services, and every instrument arrives with its own needs and every client has their own expectations for that instrument; this makes it hard to publish a long price menu that applies cleanly to everyone.

A setup might be all your instrument needs; however, if we find worn frets or structural issues during the assessment, a different approach may serve you and your instrument better overall. Listing everything as a flat menu can sometimes create the wrong expectations before we have a chance to look things over.

Basic setups start at $125 and cover most routine maintenance for acoustic and electric instruments. Consultations are always free; you are welcome to bring your instrument in and we will take measurements, walk you through our recommendations, and give you an estimate so you can decide how you’d like to proceed.
