DAYMAKER MUSIC

About Us:
Daymaker Music carries a curated selection of acoustic and electric guitars from makers like Eastman, Larrivée, Kremona, and Danelectro; boutique amplifiers from Friedman and Tone King; effects from Old Blood Noise Endeavors and Earthquaker Devices; straps from Couch and Lakota Leathers; and a thoughtful range of accessories. Our collection also includes remanufactured vintage instruments, handpicked music books, plus children’s instruments and creative musical toys. We offer instruments and gear for all ages and experience levels; all supported by a full-service repair shop that handles everything from basic maintenance to advanced restoration.

Our Story:
The founders of Daymaker Music are a husband and wife team, Elizabeth Patt and Paris Patt. From 2018 to 2023, Paris and Elizabeth co-founded and ran Patt’s Guitar Repair and Instrument Conservation in Los Angeles. After years of serving the LA music and arts scene, the couple relocated to Bainbridge Island to raise their family and build a new legacy. Daymaker Music is the next chapter—a space where their combined experience and love for all things music meets the community of musicians, makers, and creators.

Our Vision:
We hope to become a lasting part of Bainbridge Island’s cultural life and create a place where music is celebrated, supported, and shared. In the years ahead, we plan to grow our offerings to include regular music programming for kids, teens, and adults, and eventually develop a dedicated venue space for local and touring artists to perform.

    Paris Patt

    CO-FOUNDER, SALES, LUTHIER & CONSERVATOR

Paris Patt is a lifelong musician, luthier, and objects conservator with a unique background that bridges the worlds of music performance, fine art, and restoration. His musical journey began at age three with piano and later expanded through classical training at the Colburn School of Music. Over the years, he explored jazz, composition, and performance on guitar, upright bass, and electric bass—experiences that deepened his understanding of what musicians need from their instruments.

That insight led Paris to McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, where he spent years apprenticing and working as a journeyman luthier, working on the sales floor, and managing their library. There, he developed a deep respect for hands-on craftsmanship and the delicate balance between playability, tone, and preservation.

Beyond guitars, Paris is an accomplished sculpture and objects conservator. He has worked with museums, galleries, and private collections, including the City of Los Angeles, Culver City, UCLA’s Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden, and the Marciano Art Foundation. His dual expertise brings a rare, conservation-grade approach to instrument repair—blending the precision of museum work with the practical needs of working musicians.
