Manufactured and hand-finished in Oxnard, California, this Larrivée Traditional Series OM-50 pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with high-grade African Khaya mahogany back and sides.
The OM-50 uses Larrivée’s 14-fret orchestra-model body with a 25.5" scale, 1 3/4" nut width, and 2 1/4" saddle spacing. Its enlarged soundhole is designed to add midrange punch, emphasize the low end, and increase overall volume, giving the guitar a surprisingly full and open voice for an OM-sized instrument.
The body measures 15.375" across the lower bout and 4.25" deep. Larrivée’s scalloped hybrid bracing helps give the guitar a balanced, articulate response with strong note separation and excellent projection.
Appointments include a mahogany neck, Indian rosewood headplate, ebony fingerboard and bridge, maple body and fingerboard binding, herringbone rosette and top purfling, open-back 18:1 tuners, and high-density bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins. Diamond fingerboard inlays and an inlaid headstock logo complete the Traditional Series look.
